Meet the Fest

Meet Rick Denzien,  the “Zero Emissions Musician”

Get Off the Grid Fest would like to welcome Rick Denzien,  the “Zero Emissions Musician” Elderberry Jam Stage!

Singer songwriter, recording artist, producer, and entrepreneur Rick Denzien started experimenting with low emission manufacturing in the late 80’s that culminated in the creation of the rescue device known as “Exit Traveler.” His team’s patented innovation, the size of a shaving kit, was featured in Newsweek, Business Week, Popular Science and many other magazines which brought him and the device worldwide attention and awards, including Invention Convention Best of show, and IMPEX – Silver (www.ExitTraveler.com).

After the march protesting the Keystone XL Pipeline in Washington DC, February, 2013, he took on sustainability for his corporation, Slot One Entertainment, Inc., a small record label, associated with Bah-Fo Recording Studio, DenLee Music School & Infamous Golf Holes. Slot One Entertainment achieved Zero Emission status September 1, 2014, two short years after starting, and just ahead of the PCM. This Zero Emission achievement has been recognized and documented by Ethical Electric (now Clean Choice Energy) and the United States Department of Energy. Now every musical production at Bah-Fo Studio is carbon and methane free including Rick’s new RADIATE & GREEN SKY CDs  www.Patreon.com/RickDenzien

Most recently, Rick founded www.ThriveFest.Us an eco sustainability & music conference which has taken place on Earth Day weekend now for the 3rd annual year, featuring 30 performing original music artists and bands in six venues in Ambler, PA, and an all electric vehicle showcase.

Rick continues to write, record & produce music, his latest song “Silence of the Sages” outlines the need for people to step up and speak up on issues of pollution and climate change.

Rick will be playing the Elderberry Jam stage on Saturday at 1 pm and will give a presentation on electric vehicles on Sunday at 11 am.  http://rickdenzien.com
