Get Off the Grid Fest welcomes Sister of Mother Earth to our vendor lineup!
Lori Jenkins is the owner and creatress behind Sister of Mother Earth. She concocts unique fire cider blends and other herbal kitchen medicines from local ingredients and foraged plant allies from the mountains of North Carolina. She also incorporates other local small businesses into her products to create community minded products. A graduate of Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine’s Foraging Course, One Willow Apothecary’s Intuitive Plant Medicine course and currently enrolled in Rosemary Gladstar’s The Science and Art of Herbalism Course, she brings a bit of wild medicine and herbal knowledge to the local markets she is involved in and her love of all things that grow. Lori also serves on the board of two local markets, the Mars Hill Farmers and Artisans Market and the Weaverville Tailgate Market. She has made Appalachia her home. These old stones and plant spirits sing to her soul, and it is her hope that she can translate the wisdom of Appalachia into her medicine!
